Winter Solstice Yoga with Monica Anderson

The Winter Solstice is the transition from the longest night to longer daylight. 

Winter is a time of contraction of gratitudes and reflecting— as Gary Zukhov brilliantly uses the metaphor of the seed and its concentrated potential is created. The Winter Solstice marks the moment when that seed of potential begins its slow unfolding. 

This Winter Solstice yoga class is an opportunity to breathe and move and focus on this process of transformation. We will practice breath sun salutations, followed by a pranayama and meditation gently opening to the light from within which is always present and meeting it with the growing light of a new season.
